On Day Three, we went out to a old retirement home that was converted into a food distribution center for those in need. We had three groups, one to paint some windows, one to help with cooking the food, and another to help do gardening work and create a Facebook page.
While there, we even found a pile of bones! We weren’t really sure what to do with them, so we talked to the father of the orthodox church that operates the food center, and he said he would box them up and bury them in a grave behind his church.
We also spent time learning about the Time Value of Money, and why controversy with civility is necessary for social change. We’re so excited for tomorrow!
